• No Strings Theatre Company will continue performances of “A Delicate Balance,” the 1967 Pulitzer Prize winning play about friendship, loyalty and family ties by Edward Albee, directed by NSTC Artistic Director Ceil Herman, this weekend. The play stars Wynne Broms, Carmen Call, David Edwards, Cindy Murrell, Katie Richardson and Jeff Peckham. Performances are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. Sundays and a 7 p.m. show Aug. 5. • Coas Bookstores presents storytelling for children and families by the Storytellers of Las Cruces from 10:30 to 11 a.m. every Saturday at the Coas Downtown Mall and Solano store. Storytellers this week are Nancy Jenkins (Downtown) and Sonya Weiner (Solano). A free book is given to all children who attend.
• The Doña Ana Arts Council Program “Magic Carpet Story Time,” hosted by Dave Edwards, will be held every Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to noon at the Branigan Cultural Center, 501 N.
